This year’s annual community fireworks display is planned


This year’s annual community fireworks display is planned for Saturday 2nd November 2024 at 7.30pm.

Reid’s amusements will be back again too with a funfair from 4 - 9.30 pm. This event is run for the benefit of all who come to enjoy it and although there is a non-ticketed event it is only possible with donations. This year, with increased costs to consider, we ask for a suggested donation of £10 per family.


How to Donate:

Cash – find one of our volunteers and donate cash to their collection bucket

Where is the event? - North Shore, Barassie KA10 6RF

What time does it start? Funfair from 4-9.30pm Fireworks display 7.30pm

How is best to get there? – Please see travel plan info above

How much are the tickets? This is a non-ticketed event, but we cannot run this event without donations – suggested £10 donation per family

Are there toilet facilities? - Yes, there are the South Ayrshire Council toilet block located just outside the funfair area – there is a charge to use 30p and contactless only

What if I require first aid? – There will be first aiders based at the info point within the funfair area located near to the toilet block. If an emergency please dial 999

What happens if I lose a family member – We suggest agreeing meeting point in advance should you become separated from your group. Should children find themselves lost we suggest approaching a volunteer with a high viz vest and contacting the info tent within funfair area. There will be wristbands available at our info tent for young children to wear with a note of a contact tel no of a family member.
